The Shrine of All Saints is housed in St. Martha of Bethany Church in Morton Grove, Illinois, which was founded in 1919. On November 1, 2015, the Shrine was declared a diocesan shrine by Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago and since July 1, 2022, St. Martha of Bethany has been a part of All Saints Parish.
The Shrine of All Saints currently contains the relics of more than 3000 different saints, making it the second largest collection of such relics in America after St. Anthony’s Shrine in Pittsburgh.
Docent-led tours of the Shrine generally last about 2 hours and are available by appointment only. We ask that you submit your requests for tours at least 3 days in advance. We will make every effort to honor your requests, but we ask that you submit alternate dates as well, as all of the docents have commitments in addition to the Shrine.
If you do not want a docent-led tour, but would prefer to tour the collection on your own, the Church will be open for 1 hour before the 4pm Mass on Saturdays and between the 9am and 11am Masses on Sundays.
We hope to see you soon!
